Local Area

Eastbourne enjoys a glorious location with an excellent sunshine record and is known as the suntrap of the south. The five mile promenade is flat, stretching from Beachy Head in the west to the Marina in the east. Both are easily walkable but there is a dotto train or buses if you choose not to walk. We have a 1930's bandstand with a lively entertainment programme of music and fireworks. Daily concerts in summer range from classical and military brass to rock 'n roll and tribute nights.

Whatever your taste you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. Within a few minutes walk we have Indian, Chinese and Thai restaurants plus Italian and a fish and chip restaurant. Also, nearby is a very good pub called "The Marine" which serves excellent home cooked food.
